Francisco Torres-Aranda, Jr.

Founder and President

Mr. Torres has over 10 years experience in engineering research and development and has served as President and CEO of Advanced-Tec since his father’s death. Prior to that time he served as Vice President  assisting his father with his research and development efforts and spearheaded Advanced-Tec’s testing programs with the Penske racing organization. Prior to working at Advanced-Tec, Mr. Torres-Aranda Jr., was the co-founder and served as Vice President of Innovative Ash Applications Corp. This company worked with several power utility companies exploring beneficial uses for their coal-combustion byproducts. Prior to that period Mr. Torres-Aranda Jr. worked with the US Department of Health and Human Services as a liaison between the immigrant community and various regional health organizations. His research includes the beneficial utilization of coal-combustion byproducts, high-performance racing technology, and astronomy (his research into Quasar formation won an international award and was published in a European science journal.) Mr Torres currently serves on the Pennsylvania's Advisory Commission on Latino Affairs.
